Text Box: MagnaskinTM magnetic wear pads & liners!

The ACR MagnaskinTM liner installs without welding, bolting or adhesives, fastening with magnetic force alone. Bolt on liners have a tendency to allow liquid to find a way behind them and out of the equipment. ACR liners effectively seal the equipment surface off, since they have rubber on all sides, rather than steel. Bolt on liners rust and are difficult to remove without cutting, making it impractical to reposition them as they wear. Repositioning of the ACR magnetic liners is quick and easy when some have worn more than others, stretching the life of the overall lining. Vulcanized linings require the entire surface to be replaced when only a small section may be worn, which means removing the equipment or bringing contractors in.

MagnaskinTM wear liners are also available with ceramic wear surface for coal, food processing and other specialty applications.

MagnaskinTM Magnetic wear liners come in 2” thick for heavy wear areas, and 1” thick for side walls and other areas seeing less abrasion or impact. Liners can also be made to custom sizes.                                                                                                                                     Standard sizes are 12” x 12” in either 1" or 2” thickness.

Change out time for the ACR liners versus bolt on liners is reduced by more than half, allowing for maximum production. Another feature for these liners is that they can be cut on a band saw to fit odd dimensions, allowing for standard sizes to fit a wide range of surface areas. Used in hoppers, chutes, bins, drop boxes, cyclone under pans and a host of other areas that require constant wear protection, the ACR MagnaskinTM liners come in various sizes to accommodate any requirement.

Made from a proprietary blend of the toughest wearing rubbers available, the ACR MagnaskinTM liners are becoming the liner of choice around

Installation of the magnetic liners involves simply cleaning the ferrous metal surface where the liners will be installed and then fitting into place with each pad against the next. It is recommended to start at the bottom of chutes or angled hoppers, fitting the first row of pads against the bottom plate or angle iron and then adding more liners up from there. MagnaskinTM magnetic liners can be cut to allow for fitting in odd dimensional areas. To change out pads, insert a pry bar or other thin metal tool under the liner and lift to break the magnetic bond with the steel equipment. If only changing out certain liners in the center of a wear area,  it may be necessary to take out adjacent liners in order to get at the damaged liner, but in some cases you can get under  by squeezing between two liners.

Corner section liners are also available to fit either 1” or 2” liner.

These liners come in 12” lengths and when installed, help prevent the build up of material in the corners of drop boxes bins and chutes.

MagnaskinTM wear liner for internal use

Our flexible and versatile internal liner measures 7” X 6 3/8” X 1.2” and comes with powerful rare earth magnets embedded for maximum strength. These liners are used to increase wear life in specific locations where there is severe ongoing wear in a small area. The liner is placed where the excess wear occurs and it serves not only to increase the wear life at that position, but also grabs any iron or other ferrous metal in the slurry and holds it on the liner, using the metal as an additional wear surface! These liners are molded with reliefs for flexibility and to reduce material blockage. The liner can be replaced during regular shut downs or left to wear thru, after which it is ground down and dispersed in the slurry..
